Lots of Fun

Last night was SO fun! I had my first ballet class, and ate sonic for supper.

The dance I'm learning is very active and fun. I like the teacher, she makes it easy to understand.
I also had fun this afternoon. We made the best toffee EVER! Lia didn't like it, but I love it. I had three pieces!

By the way, pray for our family. We're exposed to some sickness. Kate.

A Clumsy Movie

One day, when one of my best friends Mae came over, we decided to make a movie. It was about three pioneer girls: Polly, Laura, and Savannah. My cousin JD was filming. He could use some practice!

Here's what went wrong: First, JD kept talking. Then, his dad called him. THEN, he got an ant bite. So it wasn't a very good movie. We could have done a longer movie if we girls hadn't taken so long dressing!

Ivyville

I have been working on a series called Ivyville. My friend Elle told me about a website where you can type a story and they send it back a book. I can't remember it's name though. The series is about little wingless people called Ivykins. The pictures are copied from the big ivy tree in our backyard. Here's the first paragraph:

I went outside one day and was amazed to find a tiny village called Ivyville in our ivy tree! The residents of Ivyville are called Ivykins. There are four different types of Ivykins: Bird Girls, Gem Girls, Nature Girls, and Season Girls. They are ruled by Queen Ivy and Princess Mia.

Our First Shabbat

Our first Shabbat was last Friday. Lia and I spent DAYS deciding what to wear! I wore a blue Victorian style dress that used to belong to my Nanny. Lia wore a pink and white smock dress, she looked very cute, and Rachel looked adorable in her blue sail boat dress!

We had chicken, potatoes, gravy, carrots, green beans, challah, and apple crisp with ice cream for dessert. Afterwards we played Caddoo and went to bed.

My favorite part was gathering flowers for the table, and braiding the bread!
